Do I own the domain name?
We register the domain in your name, with you as the listed owner.
Is there a monthly fee?
No, there is an initial once-off development fee of $200 and an annual fee paid upfront for $149.
What happens if I want to cancel the service?
You may cancel your service at any time by emailing us at admin@solopage.ca. To avoid renewal charges, cancel at least 7 days before your renewal date.
If you cancel:
- Your website will remain online until the end of your current paid period.
- After that, the site will be taken offline.
- Upon cancellation, we will provide a copy of your site content upon request (e.g., via export).
- After the paid period, all data may be deleted.
- Cancellations can also be submitted via email to admin@solopage.ca.
Are there any hidden setup fees?
There are no hidden setup fees. You pay an initial once-off development fee of $200.
Who pays for the hosting after the first year?
You pay upfront, an annual hosting fee of $149.
If I leave, do I get to keep the website design?
The underlying website design code and template license belong to SoloPage.
The Process
How long does it take to get my website online?
From the moment your set-up fee payment is processed, it will take two business days to get your website online.
Do I need to write the text or provide photos myself?
You do not need to write the text or provide your own photos yourself unless you have special requirements with your own branding and photographs.
What do you need from me to get started?
SoloPage provides a questionnaire that requests all the relevant information required.
Can I see the website before it goes live?
You will be able to preview your website before it goes live.
May I use a domain name I already own?
Most definitely.

Will the website work on mobile phones?
The website will work on mobile phones.
Is the website secure (SSL)?
The website will be secure (SSL). SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a security protocol that creates an encrypted link between a web server and a browser, ensuring data privacy and integrity.
Can I update the website later (e.g., change hours or phone number)?
You will be able to change business hours or phone numbers by contacting the SoloPage support team via e-mail at support@solopage.ca.
Will this help me show up on Google?
Yes, we will link your newly created website to Google.
Do you provide email accounts (e.g., info@mybusiness.com)?
SoloPage provides a website domain name and not an e-mail address.
What happens if the website crashes?
We have monitoring tools. However, if for some unforeseen circumstance we do not pick it up, when your website crashes, you can contact SoloPage via e-mail at support@solopage.ca.
